Habadekuk to take new album on tour in Europe!

By Danish Roots |

They have been touring intensively in Europe and Canada for the last couple of years, winning awards and spreading happiness all over the place. The Danish folk big band, Habadekuk, is one of Denmark’s finest and most traveling folk bands, their first album, “HopsaDaddy”, won the Danish Music Award (Danish “Grammy”) as Danish Folk Album of the Year, and now they are releasing their second album, “Kaffepunch”.

The eight piece band consists of musicians playing accordion, fiddle, piano, double bass, drums and a happy brass section. The band will take their album on tour in Denmark, Sweden, Germany, France and England during the summer – including great festivals like Sidmouth FolkWeek (GB), Het Lindeboom (F), Skagen festival (DK), Tønder Festival (DK) and Warwick Folk Festival (GB).
