The Danish folk big band, Habadekuk, just won a Danish Music Award (Danish “Grammy”) for their work with traditional Danish music, and has returned from the studio where they finished the recordings for their second album. The album is being released in the summer of 2014.

Habadekuk’s first album, “Hopsadaddy” came out in 2011 and was awarded “Danish Folk Album of the Year” same year. In 2012 and 2013 the band has been presenting the album at venues, festivals and radio stations all over Europe, Great Britain and Canada.

In January 2014 Habadekuk will be kick starting the new year by playing concerts at the Finnish Folklandia Festival which is being held on a huge ferry between Helsinki and Stockholm (9th – 12th of January 2014), and at the huge Scottish Celtic Connection Festival in Glasgow (17th of January 2014).

The band is booking for 2014 and 2015 right now!
