By Danish Roots |

The Danish-Norwegian singer Jullie Hjetland and the Swedish singer, guitarist and bouzouki player Jens Ulvsand, are both well known in Scandinavia for their work with the Folk/Jazz band KRYSS. Jens is also known for playing with the Danish-Swedish trio Færd and Trio Mio, and with the Swedish Folk/World band Avadå Band, and Jullie is part of the Danish Folk/Jazz band, Nordens Tone. The both have received several Danish Music Awards (Danish “Grammy”).

Together they feature Nordic music by singing traditional as well as new songs in several languages, while playing on bouzouki, auto harp, ukulele and a selection of electronic devises. This fairly new duo just released the album “Ulvsand & Hjetland” featuring a selection of 9 songs in very new arrangements.
